How is the chocolate shipped in the summer?
Due to extreme temperatures, unreliable transit times and increased ice pack pricing we will not be shipping any orders from June 1st- Labor Day.
How much is shipping for online orders?
All orders are flat-rate $11.95 including necessary ice to anywhere in the United States except Alaska and Hawaii. Orders over $100 ship for FREE!

When do I have to order by for Christmas Delivery?
This can vary based on location; however, to be safe estimate 3-5 business days from the time of order until delivery- potentially longer on the West and East coasts.

How do I find your outlet store?
Our outlet store is located at 831 S Baker St; Greenwood, NE 68366.
Our store is located at the exact half way point between Lincoln and Omaha on Hwy 6. If you can find Greenwood, a town of 400 people, you'll have no trouble finding the Candy Factory. We can easily seen from the highway (just look for our candy cane striped sign!)

What is the shelf life of the candy?
Chocolate is generally considered to be shelf-stable for very long periods of time. However, we recommend that it be consumed within six months of purchase to guarantee its utmost quality.
Are your chocolates gluten-free?
Yes, all of our chocolates are gluten-free.
Are your chocolates nut-free?
All of our meltaways are made in a factory that also processes nuts of all kinds; although we utilize a comprehensive allergy prevention program we cannot guarantee our chocolates will not contain traces of nuts. Soy is a principal ingredient in all of our meltaways. We use Peanut Butter as a principal ingredient in our peanut butter meltaways.
Are your chocolates milk free?
Milk and/or butter is a principal ingredient in all of our meltaways.
Do you give factory tours?
Unfortunately, we cannot give tours for insurance reasons. Please see the visit this link for a virtual behind the scenes tour of how our chocolates are made.
Can you produce my meltaways in a different color wrap?
Yes, with a 30-pound minimum order we can wrap any flavor in any color. This excludes the caramels, however, which must remain in the silver wrap. Please allow three to four weeks notice for special orders and call the factory to arrange the order.
How do you ship the chocolates?
We ship via both UPS and the USPS, FOB Greenwood, Nebraska. For large orders we also ship via refrigerated truck. If you have a shipping preference please indicate so with your order.
I didn't get my package :(
Baker's Candies will send tracking information along with every package that we ship so that you can monitor your candy's progress as it is in transit to your location. Please know that we sadly cannot offer refunds for packages that track as successfully delivered do the prevalence of "Refund abuse" scammers. This makes us as mad as it should you! If you do not receive your package, please contact our shipping department at info@bakerscandies.com and we will attempt to help anyway that we can!
Can I get a donation for my non profit group or charity?
Baker's Candies is very involved within the local community. All donation requests must be submitted in writing on the organization’s letterhead. Donation requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not ship donations; they must be picked up in Greenwood during our regular business hours.
