How many meltaways are in a pound?
There are 60 to 64 pieces per pound.
What is the shelf life of the candy?
Chocolate has an extraordinary shelf life. However, we recommend that it be consumed within four months of purchase to guarantee its utmost quality.
Are your chocolates gluten-free?
Yes, all of our chocolates are gluten-free.
Do you give tours?
Unfortunately, we cannot give tours for insurance reasons.
Can you produce my meltaways in a different color wrap?
Yes, with a 10-pound minimum order we can wrap any flavor in any color. This
excludes the caramels, however, which must remain in the silver wrap. Please allow
three to four weeks notice for special orders.
Can you do private labeling for my business?
Yes, private labeling is available. However, an initial $400 plate fee must be paid in order to produce the aluminum printing plate. For more information please contact Valena at (402) 789-2700.
How do you ship the chocolates?
We ship via UPS, FOB Greenwood, Nebraska. For large orders we also ship via refrigerated truck.
How is the chocolate shipped in the summer?
During the hot summer months, we ship by either ice pack or dry ice
depending on the time, temperature, and distance. For summer shipping
needs, please call Austin Jones at (402) 789-2700.
Can I get a donation for my non profit group or charity?
Baker's Candies is very involved within the local community. All donation requests must be submitted in writing on the organization’s letterhead. Donation requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not ship donations; they must be picked up in Greenwood during our regular business hours.
